why are people so quick to judge and believe everything the media says?

How do you get an opinion about something if you haven't heard about it in the first place from another source? Then, you have only that source to rely upon to base your judgement.

Unless you see things in the first person (like are in the midst of a battle, etc...) you will always have others words to help you make your opinion.

You can get several points of view about the same topic, but which is the real one?

So people tend to believe what they hear that goes along with their already set beliefs, and if they are presented with proof of the opposite, they will find reasons to deny it or find flaws in the opposite view.

So, no, no one has a mind of his/her own. It's impossibile unless you live as a hermit with no contact or unless you have first-hand experience of every single thing that happens in the world.

You have to hand it to the media in that they have brain-washed a large number of the populace in America. I have often wondered if people have lost the ability to analyze the situation and come to their own conclusion.

Most people have been listening to that crap for so long that they don't know what to believe anymore....All the media does is sensationalize everything for the ratings....

because they never had to have a mind of their own before.........so why start now........and obviously their mothers never taught them "dont believe everything you hear"
