I drive a school bus and because of the language in most popular music these days, I'm forced to listen to 80's soft rock. Usually I just turn the radio off, there's only so much Cindi Lauper I can handle.

We are not allowed to listen to music at work. However, on Saturdays, we have no managers there and we get away with it. We bring a radio in and listen to whatever the group consensus is. We have all taken turns bringing cd's and most of us are willing to listen to just about anything just to make the day go faster.

The 3 ladies outside my office all play classic country all day long. I get so depressed I leave every day with tears in the corners of my eyes.

They don't let us listen to music at work, they believe it would distract us. However, they do force us to listen to a lullaby every time a Baby is born up in the OB. And they still won't play "Another one Bites the Dust" every time someone dies....

Okay, no offense to anyone but I am forced to listen to COUNTRY. I have heard some song w/lyrics of "I loved her first" "parking lots" and a host of others. I so would love to sneak in and change it to classic rock but I don't dare.

I listen to my own music at work.

I couldn't handle listening to some of the music my co-workers listen to for 8 hours straight.

It's listed under "Cashmere", but it's really Adult Contemporary, they just changed the name. It's not bad, some of the songs are unbareable, but I've found I like it, when usually I wouldn't have listened to the music.
