My husband came home from the shop and there was a major sparkle flake on his cheek.
when I asked him about it he said "OH, don't be stupid!"

I wouldn't worry about it. My husband gets scruffy over the weekend and his face attracts everything from food to sparkles that probably came from one of the cards we just got. I just look at him and laugh because those stupid things fall off anything and everything. Is "the shop" like a shopping store? If so, if he even went by the card section they just attack you. Trust me and don't be worried. If you look for cheating, you'll find it everywhere.

If it was one single sparkle, I would not be concerned. Now if they were on his clothes and he smelled like perfume, you have cause for concern. I often get a piece of glitter here and there on myself from decorations at work. It could have just been a coincidence.

Sparkle could come from many places.... most of them innocent. But you sound suspicious. Perhaps you should examine within yourself why you don't trust your husband.

I wouldn't worry about it. It could have been floating around, left over from a xmas decoration. Your husbands answer was probably just a response to something that surprised him. I'm sure it was no big deal. Quit looking so hard for something to bust him on.

Be presumptuous, say to yourself that you put that sparkle on his cheek!

It depends on how you asked the question. Were you accusatory? Because it seems like if you just asked him what it was, he'd be like, "hmmmm...I don't know, let me see!' instead of getting all defensive like that. I don't like the "stupid" comment.

women freak out over stupid stuff all the time. My wife freaked out over a hair on the mirror of my car once.

"Oh don't be stupid" is a stupid answer. it's like he's jumpy from the question to begin with.
