The Sport does not count as a paper and should be discounted from all consdieration and should be redefined as pornography
The Sun is offensive in the extreme on an ongoin basis
The Daily Mail is not strictly a red-top - its values and editorial blow and suck at the same time and is just offensive but successfully has managed despite its facist (yep I do mean it supported Hitler in 1939) credentials manages to somehow prsent itself as middle of the road / middle England
The Star is just sad really; rubbish but not offensive just offensive in describing itself as a newspaper rather than a TV supplement
For me the vote goes to: The News of The World...sanctimonious, hypocritical, law-breaking sleaze bag scum who have caused trials to be aborted in their "helping" make news stories; ruined peoples lives for minor indescrtions and frankly I wuld like to see it burnt to the ground never to reappear

I think the Guardian or another name for it, is the students rag, because Catherine bennett an anti feminist writer, writes in it. She puts women down, and she is a woman. Don't like the Sun because of page three, and the "news of the world" is full of rubbish, but apparently it is one of the most popular papers, because people like gossip more than news.
You said that you didn't like the "Daily Mail" well it is a lot better than the "Guardian because I wrote a letter of complaints to both the "Daily Mail" and The "Guardian" about offencive articles in both papers, and the "Daily Mail" wrote back and thanked me for my letter, and was interested in my views. I am still waiting for a letter back from the "Guardian" about an offencive article written by Catherine Bennett. If a paper publishes her articles it can not be a good paper, because Ms Bennett is ageist and sexist. I always thought that the "Guardian" was supposed to be a progressive paper, but apparently not.

Well being from Liverpool, I have to say the Sun is the most vile, putrid mass or reconstituted wood pulp on the face of the globe.
I understand your feelings about the Mail, and I agree, but you have to admire them for their opinion, even though we don't agree with it. They have a standpoint and they stick to it. Agreed it's cancerous and poisons minds, but at least they are aiming at a reading age of over 5, unlike the Sun.
I think the Sun lies more, the Mail just add their brand of spin.
It is hard to call it, I admit, but no, it's the Sun for me.

-daily sport is just cheap porn
-daily mail is nowadays blantantly racist in almost every respect. anti-immigrants,if there's one thing i like about it, is it's probably the only paper that is anti-blair/labour supporting and plus, the stephen lawrence campaign where they urged the killers to come forward to admit that they were responsible for his death
-the sun is pro- blair and pro iraq war and tacky as hell. need we say page three? owned by the warmongering mega rich blair and bush-rite media tycoon rupert murdoch
-daily express is middle of the road dirge
of all the sunday newspapers, the news of the world is the most trivial, sensationalist tabloid trash. usually each week, there'd be one or two stories about some footballer or celeb cheating on his missus with some blonde for example. frankly, who cares?
i don't read newspapers these days- i try to avoid them but as a media student if i have to read one because i've been told that i have to by one of my lecturers, they would reccomend the guardian, independent

the daily star
the sun
or
the daily sport.
i don't mind the daily mail, they're clearly anti-blair.
& is that a failing?
i don't think so, 1 voice of reason's a good idea.
the mail is just bolder.
i found out from them
that terrorists leave the country dressed in burkas.
that prince charlie pays himself millions & has the nerve 2 claim back the Tax.
the NHS, MOD, the prison service r failing miserably
& that the UK is on the brink of splitting in2 England, Scotland & Wales, again.
what a waste of time the passed 50 odd years has been!
why do u blame the messenger?

All of you who've said the Star, Sun or NOTW, which are all trash, obviously haven't looked at (I won't say read) the Sport.
At least the Sun and NOTW can sometimes be entertaining trash.
Last time I looked at the Sport, about two years ago, they were advocating "@rse worship".
