I'm listening to a song called Suburban Homeboy from Sparks album Lil' Beethoven. It is not a "hip-hop" album. It's a cross between pop and opera. They are making fun of people with money who act like they are from the "hood".
These are the phrases I'm interested in:
"Props to our peeps"
"She looks like Iverson in a way"
What's props?
What's peeps?
Do they mean the basketball player Allen Iverson?

If you want to tell people (or peeps) that they have asked a "dum" question you may want to learn how to spell "dumb" otherwise you look pretty "dum".
You may want to lay off the "chemicals" a little.
