I need some Filipino person preferably from Manila to tell me what the following means: If a guy pays a compliment to a filipina girl and she answers something that appears to be like OH COME ON YOU ARE JUST SAYING THAT but with the words "ahhh bola bola" What does she mean ? Does it mean YOU ARE JUST SAYING THAT or is she being rude ?? Thanks.

It just means she wants to appear modest and doesn't want you to think she's too proud of herself or conceited. It's a common Filipina characteristic. They want to appear timid and shy. I'm sure she's not being rude. Most women just don't know how to react to flattery. Some might even be uncomfortoble especially with too much attention.
(I usually just say "thank you, i know".)

ahhhh bola bola could literally means " OH COME ON YOU ARE JUST SAYING THAT, YOU'RE PULLING MY LEGS" with a little flirt. Filipinos are not rude, in all honesty. If they are really angry and would want to say that F word, they would say puck, like the hockey puck.

Cheers!

she's just saying it for modesty. just like what you said they are just saying oh! come on you got to be kidding. its not being rude because in the pilipino culture we don't consider it rude and most don't know what to say with flattery.

she's not being rude. compliments aren't normally taken into right away so we normally say, oh you're kidding me. but that's not being rude.
