Its about 18' square, ruins the view from upstairs and shows me up on Googlearth. Is there anything in green maybe that won't flake off?

If u use some *dulux* super grip primer - u can put any colour you want on it - best stuff 2 go on top is weathershield exterior high gloss - or textured masonry paint which usually has a pleasing effect.

Check with a paint manufacturer store for specialty paint. There are paints and primers for metal, concrete, and even plastic. Also, your plastic roof might actually be fiberglass. The point is these people often know exactly what will work best.

Krylon makes spray paint specifically for outdoors plastic and resin (ie lawn furniture) but I bet it would work if you put a couple coats on the roof...
