Ya the 0.7 share proves it is a great sport.....rofl. I think the WNBA all-star game did better, seriously I am not joking.

We knew it was on, but took awhile to figure out what channel VERSUS was. It was pretty boring honestly, except for when Turco and Brodeur were miked up. The Young-Stars game was much much worse, and I definitely won't watch that next year. The most interesting thing was the skills competition.
Having it on a Wednesday night against something like American Idol was a pretty bad idea imo.

I knew it was on but what a crap time on the west coast. By the time I made it home the game was over. Plus a Wednesday? They should have had it on NBC SUNDAY game of the week.
However hockey is a great sport and I have been watching playing since the early 70's and enjoy it immensely, but it does not watch as well on TV as Football where the action is close and in short burst, or basketball where again every thing happens in close. Hockey moves fast and can be hard to catch everything on camera. Plus if you do not understand the game, and lets be honest the US media does not, it can be a challenge to understand everything going on.

Ok first off we don't flood the board with questions, but rather ask REAL ones. Go to the Football section and see how many questions are just Who will win the Superbowl? So just because we don't constantly ask the same question we don't care? As to people knowing, yeah most knew if they like hockey. Two things. First you are going by the American rating. The problem there ,which is the second thing, is that it was on VS. a channel most people DON'T get. How can you get ratings when people don't get the channel? Besides how retarded was holding it on Wednesday Night?

Hockey may not be flashy like football or baseball where it cant be a game unless fergie sings at halftime but it's still a good sport. I must admit the all star game sucked

i knew it was on. it has such low ratings cuz the game was on vs. which most people don't subscribe to. also, the all star game is very boring game, as most hockey fans know, cuz the "stars" of the teams "mail" in their games cuz they don't want to risk getting injured right before the playoff run. just cuz you don't like something doesn't mean that it's not a kick-*** sport. i've never watched an nfl or nba game in my life, and i don't care to. i couldn't even tell you when the superbowl is, but that's just me, i guess.

very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days had no hype, grow to be scheduled horribly on a weekday, and that i have self assurance it began at the same time as many of the west coast people were nonetheless at artwork. i'm particular the rankings will strengthen.

D'uh! People in the HOCKEY section undoubtedly knew the All-star HOCKEY game was on last week.
Did you mean to post that question in the HOCKEY section or the "Golly, I know it's a dumb question, but I'm going to post it anyhow" section??

Of course I knew the All Star Game was on last week! I was disappointed in it. It felt more like an "exhibition game" than a real game. I say put it on a weekend afternoon when there will be more viewers, and play like you mean it! And IMPEACH BETTMAN!
