multiply both sides with 56

56x/7 = 56x/8 + 224
8x = 7x + 224 (both sides -7x)
x = 224

----

2nd, both sides multiplied with 14

16x - 14x = x - 63
2x = x - 63 (subtract x on both sides
x = -63

u got the solution to the first one,heres the 2nd one..
8x/7 - x=x/14 - 9/2
(8x-7x)/7 = x/14 - 9/2
x/7 = x/14 - 9/2
x/7 - x/14 = -9/2
(2x - x)/14 = -9/2
x/14 = -9/2
x = -9/2 x 14
x = -63
