This is a what if question... Does anyone has a theory of his/her own or know something about it?

The moon is moving away from us at about 2 cm a year so your question makes no sense.

Life would be VERY different.

For starters:

1) Ocean tides would be much more extreme.

2) Nearly all satellites would be knocked from orbit .

3) We would almost be able to fly to the Moon in an airplane and have lunch there.

4) Scientist would have some serious explaining to do.......

But of course this is all hypothetical. If by some freak of physics the Moon actually did get that close, the friction between it and the Earth's atmosphere would most likely slow the Moon down and send it crashing down on our heads thereby destroying life as we know it....

The moon could never come that close to earth. The Roche limit is about (help me here guys) 13000 miles from earth. Once the moon got this close it would brake apart and become a ring around the earth much like Saturn has. Of course some of those parts would fall out of orbit and hit the earth. This would cause a Life Extinction Event. So we should all hope this does not happen.
But it won't. So don't worry.

I don't understand your question. The Moon is approximately 240,000 miles away from Earth, whereas the clouds are only a few miles above the ground. And the Moon is (slowly) moving away from Earth, as someone above mentioned.

The Moon was once close to Earth, so it had a greater affect on our tides. Aside from it's tidal effects, however, I'm not sure what other effects it had.
