I went to the American Tourist area in Mexico on a cruise a few years back, and I went to a shop where I saw a cool little statue or idol or something that was fifteen bucks. My mom and I only had eight, and we haggled with the shopkeeper until we brought his price down to eight. It was so much fun. Anybody else love haggling?

I love to haggle in Mexico because to most Mexicans it is a skilled game and part of their culture, and it is fun. my mother is from Mexico and i worked in the Sierra Madre's for four years in the deep rain forest. negotiating mining deals it was a real blast(get it -mines-blast?).

I love Mexico (my family is from there) but I don't like haggling. My mom is great at it....it kind of embarasses me at times but I'm glad she does it because I always get things for half price.

No, I don't like haggling and I don't like Mexico for that reason. Too many hagglers and gypsies on the beach pushing their wares.. Too much... not fun at all.
