It would never happen , as mentioned before ,a snake and bear would never meet in the wild . Take all these supposed stories with a pinch of salt.

a snake could not eat a full grown bear the record for an anaconda is abouty 30 feet long and that could probably not eat a bear it may, not definately though be able to kill a bear, also a reticulated python can be the same lengh as an anaconda and Burmese pythons get close

Hi there!
I doubt if the snake could eat the bear, but it could kill it depending on how much poison the snake injected into the bear.
The snake would only be able to fit the bears head in its mouth, but no more.
If you are talking about a baby bear, then it could but only if the snake was big enough.
Hope this helps.

I kinda think it might be tough to impossible for a big snake to survive attempting to overpower a grown bear.

A python or anaconda might be able to overpower and consume a bear cub. The chances of this happening in a natural setting are about nil.

An anaconda can eat a donkey, so I think a smallish bear would make a good meal. The only problem being, they don't inhabit the same countries as far as I am aware.

no because a snake eats by swollowing the thing hole and to do thats the snake needs to be able to fit in its mouth even after it dislocates its jaw so you can nearly judge for your self what it can eat if you know the size of the snake

it's not possible only if the bear is in pieces. the anaconda is a snake from the tropical jungle and it's a fact that an adult anaconda can swallow dogs or little child.

It depends on how big the snake was and how big the bear was.

I know a python can eat an adult gazelle, but no American native snake can come close.

Snakes cannot hold a knife and fork, so would have serious difficulties with something as tough as that
