Ok final fantasy 12 lovers, help me with an accessory?

How do I use the neop_____? I forget what its called and how its spelled but it reverses the effect of potions and stuff. I'm at lvl 62 and tearing through hunts right now, what is the best way to use it?

I believe that the way your supposed to use it, is to attack your teammates instead of healing them with an item and then it will heal them for as much damage as the attacking character can deal, but I'm not positive because I never used them when i beat the game I tried to use accessory's that better fit the certain types of characters that I was using.
