Hurricanes can travel as slow as 4 miles and hour,when there is no other disturbance,eg; an approaching cold front,which would cause the system to accelerate to as fast as 14 to 20 miles,some system have even travel led at higher speeds,with this increased speed its even more deadlier,eg Florida.
