Exact defination of intellegence is however abscent in all Text and Reference books of Neuromedicine, neuropathology. However according to me it is the neurophysiological state of human brain, particularly of the cerebral cortex which includes culmination of cognitive abilities that includes auditory, perception, 3D object recognition, speech perception, langauage, Skilled/unskilled behavior, Goal directed planning , Problem solving, Attention, Reasonng and Memory function of brain. This intellegence can be tested by IQ test which includes verbal IQ, performance scale IQ[ Revised Wecheser Adult & child intellegence scaleII]. IqQ score represent the age adjusted scaling of an individual intellectual performace. There are many other tests for intellegence performance like Raven's Test, pre-morbid estimates of intellectual function, Peabody individual achievement Test, Revised and wide range achievement tests. All these tests depends on ability of communication of a person with test performer. So by term Intellegence I can Say that an intellegent man is able to communicate effectively and resonably in a language that he/she understand and able to speak with a man who is performing the test. The neurophysiology of intellegence is a big and voluminous chapter requires many neuronal connections/tracts ,many chemical mediators like GABA, Acetecholine, Endorphin, receptors, developement of Brain in Utero and in chldhood, involvement of several areas and nucliue of brain, gene and social and environmental factors
