Chores: Basically everything, dusting all furnitures, cleaning windows (inside, outside is a different charge), bathrooms, all floors mopped, baseboards, beds, kitchen, etc.
We literally do everything, we provide excellent cleaning service but it requires a lot of time and dedication. It's a very tiring job, but it pays well. We only provide the supplies when the client doesn't go out and buy it, so we do it and give them the receipt.
But for most of our houses we bring our vaccum and each house has its mop and bucket, which is also charged.
If you want to supply everything fot the client you can but you should charge it separately or add with price you're going to charge the house.
Some people charge hourly, but we charge by the job.
There's a lot of factors to determine the price. Size of the house, situation of the house (clean, messy, dirty, neat), pets.
We charge $120 for a house w/ 4 beds, 2 1/2 baths
And we only charge hourly if we have a construction job, in which the house will have way too much dust and more work.
Advices, if you're going to clean more than 2 houses per day, you should bring someone with you and pay them to help or else you're only going end up tired, stressed out and that will result in bad work. And above of everything, you should at least, like to clean and be an organized person because if you're not that shows on everthing you do, and if you do, you're going to do a great job which is only going to bring you more and more costumers.
I wish success and patience, because the beggining is pretty hard, but the days will get better as you get used to this honest and hard-working business.
Hope it helps.
Few cleaning tips:
Glasses, wash it with detergent and squeegee it off and then dry it. Sometimes Windex only makes it worse.
We do that to mirrors as well.
Use microfiber cloths to dust.
Bathtubs: laundry detergent (perfect)
