Trojans usually come under the heading of spyware which is different to virus and needs different software to combat it. There are also things called malware and keyloggers also under the umbrella of spyware. I suggest you get a really good anti-spyware program such as CounterSpy.

you are in deep trouble...If you get lucky you can go do a virus scan and it will remove no problem. If you are not so lucky you got it by downloading something. Like me I was unlucky and got one that would hide from most scan programs and regenerate. here's what you do.
1. Get the name of the Trojan horse
2. go online and google it
3. find a forum that is talking about it
4. do what they say step by step

P.S. Norton and most all anti-virus programs don't work that well so try programs like, AVG Anti-Spyware, Ad-Aware SE Personal both are free and work very well they will find what you have plus more.
