A question to gay males, have you ever fallen in love with a woman?

I have tried to, more than once, but it isn't possible. Thats what makes me gay. i.e. being gay (in my opinion) isn't really about which sex you have intercourse with but which sex you are able to "fall in love" with.

I have had sex with women while knowing I'm gay (and while she knows), but I could never form a real proper relationship with her - or any other woman.

I can appreciate beautiful females. I can have meaningful friendships with females - but I cannot fall in love with a woman.
