80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.


To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

We are alive to do better than what exists. It is not only true that we are to die it is also true that we are to take birth, difference is that birth is beginning and death is end to begin. If you believe in 'YUGs' i. e. 'Satyyug, Treta, Dwaper and Kaliyug' it is a cycle of nature and in all these period all natural creatures does exists of which human-being is most superior. Being the superior, human-being had always been trying to create better than what the God 'natural supreme' had created, specially control over death & birth, but has not yet been success. Now you can just retreave what is the goal of life.
I take this way that we are alive to keep the all kind of nature creations intact, however we beutify those to improve its shape to extort the best for maintaining and kepping originality of the creaters.

No one has had to die for the last 2000 years since Jesus showed you the Power of Light over Death.
'Light' is a real tangible substance not some philosophy or belief.
Matt 5:48. Jesus stated "be ye 'PERFECT' even as your Father in heaven is Perfect". Do you really think He would tell you something you could not do?
He was a real man in flesh just like you and me and likewise we can be FREE from ALL human definitions and limitations.

You are right every life has a reason to live.

We were offered the gift of life to live in perfect haromny with this beautiful creation of the God - the nature, and to take care of his creations while He is busy creating taking care of us. But all taht we could do is create problems and not allow him to concentrate on anything else but correct our blunders. He though that He could take a day off relying on us. All His creations abide His rules apart from us. He gave us knowledge, a gift that he didn't impart to any other being in this world and we messed up. He wanted us to utilize it to help Him create a better world. But we were selfish and just thought of our ownselves.

That's the only goal we need to reach - to be in harmony with the mother nature and to put efforts in building a perfect world where every living being gets his own space.

Hope we human beings learn this soon cos if He loses His temper, we could just guess about the disaster taht He could bring in...
