My man of 18 months left because he said he couldnt bear the responsiblity of bringing up my 4 year old child, because she isnt his and he is too old (he's 41).....how come some men are ok with other mens children and some aren't. He has 2 children of his own which he sees regularly.

Well he knew you had a child before he let the relationship go as far as it did, be thankful with his attitude it would have had a negative effect on your daughter in the long run, cut your losses and move on.

because some men are immature when it comes to that . I pretty much figure that if they love you then they should be willing to take on what comes with you . That includes children . just be thankfull that this came out while you were still in the dating process and not already married . Just forget him and move on . He is an immature a--hole and be glad he is gone . good luck.

i don't think he was immature for admitting that he couldn't handle the situation
i think it was very mature for him to back out of the relationship before breaking the little girls heart on top of yours
the man you should be hating on is the child's father
please do not have anymore children until in a very stable married relationship
