not as far I know but for example the Indians where used for they possibility to talk in there native languages.
The Germans could hear them speak but they didn't understood the league.
Not to many people except the Indians could master Navajo or one of the other leagues of the native Indians.
This group was where the " wind talkers "

Of course there were. After Percival's humiliating surrender at Singapore, Indian troops were pretty much all there was left to stop them from overrunning Burma and what was then India.
