in theory would it be possible to turn off the gene strain that makes us age off?

If we know the gene strains that make us age would it be possible for us to reverse the process of aging or eventually turn it off, if so what effect would this have on the planet? would we still need to have children?

go to casulity tell the you hurt foot and cant walk they will give you them
