I would certainly hope not. Imagine your life as being today only. What of the memories of the past. Good and bad. And what of the future? Anticipation is on of the greatest pleasures. Doing things today to insure a better tomorrow can be very satisfying.
But to think of today as the ultimate? No.
Now if you mean, do I live my life today, based on what happened in the past. Of course. With the caveat that I still base my life today on what can happen in the future.

No. But I have lived my whole life in a single night. I think they call that a "nightmare".
