Afro-Caribbean means people of African origin whose families were brought over to the Caribbean islands?

Since there is so many countries involved, you might have to go through them individually, island by island

I can only help you for Trinidad...
Brian Lara (Greatest Living Cricket Batsman)
Dwight Yorke (Trinidad International Soccer Player, Champions League Winner)
Billy Ocean (Musician, 'when the going gets tough', 'Caribbean Queen'

Not Trinidadian, but probably the most famous of all African Caribbeans:

Bob Marley!!!

How long do you want the list to be, I'm White and sitting thinking about it there must be hundreds, also no matter how long the list, some will slip through the net. I'm replying on the basis that when I was travelling around the United States a number of Black people I encountered described themselves as Afro Caribbean.

First think of jazz and Motown, I'm sure with just those two as a prompt you can think at least twenty on your own
E.G. Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Diana Ross and Otis Redding, other music genres have their own Afro Caribbean legends including Rock, Country, Opera and Classical, just thinking for a few minutes and you can think of many others in the music industry yourself.

The tv and film industry has a good list as well. My personal is favourite is Michael Clarke Duncan who by far was the best actor (and should have got an Oscar), as John Coffey in the Green Mile. Morgan Freeman in the Shawshank Redemption, Denzel Washington who proved to those who don't go to the theatre that a Black man can do Shakespeare (Much Ado About Nothing).

I could sit all night putting this list for these categories together, but I hope you are getting the idea.

Above is only a small example, but almost anyone can make this list MUCH, MUCH longer. It is not only in North America where famous Afro Caribbeans are to be found they are Global and not only in the entertainment industry.
