I was talking to a man from Jordan a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't believe how racist he was. He told me "I'm not racist, but these people are black". I couldn't believe it as I was lead to believe that The Qu'ran says there is no difference between us, in terms of the colour of our skin!

Colorstruck....especially in Egypt. Emphasis on SOME.

The brilliant ones are not (especially the Egyptologists, who know what the predominant cultures were when Egypt was on the DECLINE, and when Egypt was in its GRANDEUR).

Plus (once again I use Egypt as an example), the entertainment industry is burgeoning. So how black people are depicted in Western entertainment is what the ignorant ones assume ALL black people are like.

Hope that clears it up.

N.B. -- For future reference, be careful about your wording. Arab is a culture, not a religion. Arabs practice all kinds of religions (e.g. Judaism or Christianity), though most are closely associated with Islam.
