You have to do it in three stages.

Stage 1 - 20 x 10 = 200

Stage 2 - 25/5 = 5
5 + 15 = 20

Stage 3 - Answer from stage 1 - answer from stage 2
200 - 20 = 180.

I have used each number once and each sign once.

Hope this helps!

Since the problem is asked, the answer is presumably 'yes, it can be done'. And if it were a simple matter, you'd not have bothered to post it here. So it seems it is possible but not easy.

There are many ways to make 20, and many more to make 200 or 160, but the only way to make 20 with either 160 or 200 & still leave the appropriate sign is as follows:

25/5=5, and 15+5=20, so 15+(25/5)=20.
20x10=200, and 200-20=180, so (20x10)-(15+(25/5))=180.

If you look at the final equation above, you will see that the numbers 5,10,15,20 and 25 have been used once each - as have each of the four main mathematical signs. The problem is thus solved.

First 10*20=200
Then 25-5=20
Then 200-20=180

There are 24 ways to arrange the order of signs and 120 ways to arrange the order of numbers. Not counting brackets that gives us 2880 possible combinations. Based on that and the fact that the question has been asked at all I would guess that the answer is "yes". If so, then a computer program that tried out all combinations could find it quite fast, but personally I simply don't have the time.
