Does A computer Operator work alone or with others?

Hey guys does a compuer operator work alone or with other people? I am working on a class project and cant find this out!!! Plz help

Most computer operators these days are part of a team. Especially if they have shift work- it allows coverage for holidays, sick leave, etc.

Some computer related tasks have 2-man (person) verification. Especially security or personnel related stuff- like going through the files of an ex-employee, seeing what to archive and what to delete.

Most day to day tasks, however, can be done by a single dude sitting in a cubicle.
