My old crate appears to be leaking oil (seen behind Front Left Tire. What's this due to?

Any ideas and what it might cost to fix? The car has 143,000 miles on it, but I'd like to keep it til the end of this year if possible.

Also, lately there has been a little bit of a burning rubber smell when I turn off the engine.

The only thing to do is to find the source of the leak. It could be transmission cooling lines. If it's oil and you're not using much, just keep a close eye on the oil level.
