yes that happened to me! I ended up getting a new prescription. Like 2 weeks after I had my son, I had to start wearing my old glasses. I was told this is normal

When I was pregnant with my daughter my vision got really bad, so I went to the eye doctor and he said I needed glasses. This was the first time I ever had trouble with my vision. Since she was born, almost 8 years ago, I've updated my prescription once and it's only gotten worse since she was born. I would avise as others have, although this is normal, go have an eye exam at the eye doctor, not your regular doctor, you will most-likely need corrective lenses which may just be temporary while you're pregnant.
Also watch your teeth. While I was pregnant, my baby sucked all my calcium from everywhere she could, (from what the doctor and the dentist both told me it happens alot!), I was told there really isn't much you can do about it but most people do suffer tooth aches alot more during pregnancy then any other time even if they've never had issues with their teeth before. I would see a dentist as well and also make sure you're taking a multi vitamin and drinking lots of milk!!! Even if the morning sickness doesn't like milk... try hard because it can be very benificial :) Good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations! :)

Hi. You weren't specific as to whether you wear contacts or glasses, but when I was pregnant I couldn't wear contacts. It was explained that during pregnancy all of your tissues swell, making the contacts not fit correctly. If you are a glasses wearer, I wouldn't hurry out and get new ones during pregnancy, your eyes may clear up after childbirth. Also, I would make sure that your blood sugar is under control, as this can affect vision. Check with your eye care professional.

It is normal for your vision to get a little worse during pregnancy. Unfortunately that's not the only thing that can get worse. Mine always got better again within a couple of months of having my children.

The hormonal changes in your body can definatly blur your vision, so it is indeed very likely that you may need a new eye exam, the problem is, your vision will most likely change again later on and when you have the baby so only buy like 3-6 months of contacts instead of the full year. This happened to me too!!
Good luck.

It's normal. The increased blood flow due to the fetus causes poor vision in some. If you wanted the CMA Awards a few weeks ago, Actress Kimberly Williams Paisley made a joke about being knocked up and blind because she couldn't see the teleprompter screen.

They say your eye sight does get worse during pregnancy, thats why they do not recommend getting eye exams when you are pregnant. When a few of my friends were pregnant, their eye sight got bad, but went bak to normal after child birth. I wouldnt be too concerned about it. Unless it is bad enough to make getting through the day hard. Then talk to your doctor

This condition is actually normal though not very prevalent. You may want to check with your doctor just to make sure that it isn't something else just to be safe. My vision was affected during my pregnancy also but went back to normal after delivery.

First off go to the doctor cuz it could be a serious problem like diabetes or nerve damage. But it could be a hormonal thing that the doctor can either help with or he will have the anwser. I cant imagine if it is a hormonal thing that the vision wont be restord after you have the baby!I hope it all wokrs out and i doubt anything is seriously wrong. Congrats~
