heres the question?
A sales manager buys antacid in bottles by the gross. If he goes through 3 bottles of antacid every day, how long will the gross last?
A. 144 days

Well, you would have to figure out what gross means first. Gross is 12 dozen (144). So he has 144 bottles of antacids. If he goes through 3 a day you would divide 144 by 3 and that will tell you how many days it will last.

To double check that you got the right answer... multiply your answer by 3 and it should equal 144.
