All energy was in an infinately small space. Then something caused the energy to explode and eventually form stars etc.
There may have been stars and planets before the big bang but gravity may have caused them to collide towards each other and compact into the infinately small space (the big crunch).
There may have been an ongoing cycle of big bangs and big crunches.

To answer this question, you must either believe in science or religion. In religion, people believe that god created it, but here is the question. How was god created itself? If, you're into science then you might believe in the big bang theory. Here is the question for this, Is the big bang theory even true? Beside, the big bang theory is only a hypothesis. It is impossible to answer this question in my opinion because there is no truth in the universe and the world. We can try to find particles of the big bang in the universe, or we can look into the bible. Good luck finding the answer to your question but remember our answers are only opinions not factual information.

You mean began, I presume.
If you want a fairytale you know where to get a 'holy' book I'm sure.
I'd look up the ekpyrotic scenario if I was you but the simple answer is we don't know yet.
Some people will tell you Big Bang but that only describes the rapid expansion - not the very beginning of our Universe.

Deffinetly the Big Bang and by that, String Theory. It DOES make sense if you picked up a book and read about it. Try Stephen Hawking or Lisa Randall's Warped Passages.

There is no answer to that question. Because the beginning had no begining, for there to be something to begin with, you would have to start with nothing. But if there is nothing to start off with, then there was nothing to begin it. You can count 1 to forever, but what started 1 was 0.9, and it goes back in the opposite direction that still ends in forever. Get it?

Science cannot go back to the exact moment of creation as of yet, but a branch of physics and math called M-theory may have the answer in the near future.

An Absolute Singularity - a crux of all Thought & Matter - sought to manifest in order to realize Itself. It caused its reflection which is our Universe.

there are different answers to this questions. If you want the common scientific belief then wikipedia the term "Big Bang Theory". If you want the religious explanation then grab a bible and a snikers bar.
