I think because there are problems in india for providing facilities to the sports person before they earn fame. There is not a fare selection policy exists. We always do experiments and to new entrants not giving enough chance. The interfere of politicians is also there.

The cricket board in India should get their scouts to find young talent and start training them in a young age to produce some potential fast bowlers. When you invite the players from the clubs or teams that are already participating in tournaments, it's too late. These cricketers have already developed their own styles and hard to re-train them. Training the young talents in the early stage will definitely produce some good fast bowlers. Indian cricket academy should consider that.

Its just because they experiment too much. New players come and go like the daily newspaper. Nobody gets a fair chance too prove their talent. They should pick some talented bowlers and give them time to fit in. Pakistan don't experiment much, so all the players adjust easily.

You observe this like an examination question - "...communicate the opportunities if the shortcoming of religous and ethnic tolerance in a caste device had on no account existed..." before everything, Pakistan had large batsmen too - certainly one might desire to argue Zaheer Abbas and Miandad are the equivalent of Tendulkar without the type of accessible video games to look after the type of runs. you'll be able to nicely be too youthful to undergo in recommendations those greats. I propose you verify Miandad's record - this is sensational - 23 centuries, 8800 runs. And undergo in recommendations Inzamam? Saleem Malik? Bowlers, India - Kapil dev, srinath...yet India are sought after for large spinners - this is their history so as that's what the extra youthful youngsters reproduction and emulate - and that i've got seen a lot of them - Bedi, Prasanna, Shastri...etc. i'm uncertain you're that precise on your fact. the two those gamers may be the equivalent of Gangully, Dravid and Laxman.

india has got good quality bowlers like irfan pathan,sreeshanth etc but due to lack of proper training and facilities,they get beaten up in every match,but if bcci and coach chappel took the matter seriously now,india can produce quality bowlers in the team.

Once pakistan had good fast bowlers like fazal Mohammed, but they are almost like Indians.
Our punjabis and some of the north Indians are very much like pakistanis.
In states & Uk they get together for qawalis and hindustani music.
& look the same.
But compared to other parts of the world our fast-bowling is nil.
May be our bowlers/ sportsmen need to eat better food and withstand lot of stress.

It's not true that india is failing to produce fast bowlers. In my village there are more than a dozen fast bowlers who can ball faster than Akhatar but they don't like wearing shoos and it's illegal to ball without shoos.

Jack,
we should also consider the physical fitness of the players. Physical fitness does not come directly from doing exercise or so, but it comes right from birth.

Can you show me one Indian batsman who can bat for 100 overs continuously, they cannot - it is not only because of ability but also something like stamina! We lack in it!

Dhoni is strong but he is from Jharkand, Kapil from Punjab - compare these both with balaji from chennai or agarkar from mumbai. This is what they call that strength from soil.

Even if you take pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar - how strong he is .. compare him with asif (asif is good in maintaining line and length but compare him and shoaib with respect to speed).

You can say many examples like this Ntini of SA, Symonds from Australia. (although, he is not a fast bowler -- have you seen his throw ).

We need to develop sports activities across the rural areas, that is how we can find some strong guys like shoaib, ntini etc;
