THE KEYS TO FREEDOM: PERCEPTION & RECEPTION is all that exists

what makes you think you will die?, what makes you think that thier can be an existance for you today, only to end, another day?
You are part of this very existance, you are made of space and pure potential, these parts of you will never die or be reborn, they just are.. they always will be., the potential of beleif is to create comfort in an unknown world, this world is unknown simply because the ego that has assumed to be all that you are, is completely distracted from seeing the life force it iis a part of, do you see your mind as your identity, and your body as your head to your feet., or is your mind the space between forms, and your body all that exists in form.

to die, is to be unconsciouse of existance, and borred of life, it is to become rejuvinated again, reborn, and atempt finding imortality again, this process will hapen, time and time again, untill the purpose of creation,(sustaining the creation, and adding to it) is your purpose.

It has never been substantiated whether there are ghosts after death. there is however hope in the second coming of the creator of man when there will be resurrection of the spirit and the body and the soul. I am hopeful you will a benefactor.

you sound like one who is not sure of what to hope for but disability is not the end of a fulfilling livelihood... infact it is a perspective of the world from somewhere a large portion of people have not had the opportunity. You should be able to respect more wholeheartedly people for who they are and not what they look like or what they have or how much they have accomplished materialistically. You should be able to understand sincere honesty and strive to be no one else but you and people will love you because sincerity is a rare quality.tihs is how you can live your life more wholly and find fulfilment.

I am sorry you feel so alone but self pity will only make you more disabled... mentally. you need to find people who respect you for for you and let them learn to love you. i am sure you have a charming side that people will find irresistable. make the see you and not your disability. The secret to this is to first accepting yourself and learning to love you

you are what you think you are.

Stop thinking about death so much and start appreciating life. It is a profound gift.

You've literally asked two of the classic "age old" questions, and the answers here are a pretty good sampling of the sort of answers religion and science tend to give.

Many people spend their whole lives asking "Who am I?" No matter your religion (or lack thereof) I think the answer we can all agree on is this: You are more than the sum of your parts... you are more than you think you are - or even what you think you can be!

I believe that God created each of us with a heck of a lot more potential than most of us can ever guess and part of the purpose of life is to become more and more what we were created to be... and that has nothing to do with physical abilities or their absence... it has to do with your heart and mind and soul.

I also believe the God who loves you will help you get there... and part of that help is the support and advice of others... even anonymous people on the internet!

As for what happens when you die: most religions believe in some sort of afterlife (though some believe it won't happen immediately)... how you get there varies according to the particular faith.

Consider the French Philosopher Pascal's take on it (commonly called Pascal's Wager):

If I live my life as if God doesn't exist and I'm wrong... I'm in big trouble.
If I live my life as if God does exist and I'm wrong... I've lived a good life, so what's the harm?

Don't be in a hurry to find out what happens when you die, because as long as you're still here the story isn't over... there are still things for you to see and learn and be and enjoy.

FRENCH POET once said

death is the abolition of space and light.

I cant say for sure but according to buddism death is not important thing , either the being after death. the point is what we re gonna know about being alive.

the ancient chinese philosophy tells
life is a very short dream. so you dont have to shed tears for this short dream.

an old popsong became once populour , the lylics were

" everything is dust in the wind".

if life is such a thing may be we dont have to care about something after death.

I feel sorry for your last question, for an old disabled lonely man , I sencerly wish good thing.

Vickey,

Your questions " after death and who am I ?" will get automatically answered IF you start to ask the question "Who am I ?" when you are alive! And not after you are long dead.

Many donot know who they are. They know what they are....... rich or poor, educated or uneducated, father or son .... and never WHO they are , really. By falsely identifying themselves with what they are , they all have trouble living and they are worried what will happen after death.

Self Knowledge is the key to understand who you ( we) are really. Once this is realised you will have no problem in this life let alone in the next.

When , as you say, you are alone you can contemplate on this self knowledge and know yourself. Disability , that is physical disability does not stand in the way of your understanding this. You will be automatically peaceful with this knowledge. There are are many websites that can take you to this and you can choose any one. Try a website called "samvit sagar" Good luck and donot despair. The ghost that you are afraid is in the mind.

as we all know that every body have to die on some day. but as you have asked that what will hapen after death, nobody knows that what will happen. But according to my knowledge after death a person first of all feals that he is in a dark place. but some times later he sees that some persons comes to take him to a nice valley. the valley would be so beautiul. the scenery of the valley will be so beautiful that no one would like to come from there. But the person who is able to come from that valley he will be survived. It is very impossible to say that there is ghost or not. Re birth of a man can be possible because according to our old grandfathers if a person does very good and man helping works in his real life then there can be a next birth of him.
as you have asked that who are you its answer is that you are a humanbieng.

We are all the creation of an omnipotent being we call God. God created a number of souls and just to differentiate each soul He has provided each soul with a body duly designed to suit His plans for its purpose on this earth. The body like everything else on this earth has a life span and can be destroyed at anytime, the soul however, moves on according to His plans. We human Beings are the body, our body belongs to the soul and the soul belongs to God. When ‘we’ (the body) die the soul may adorn another body (provided by God) and continue its purpose here on this earth or be transferred in some other form to some other world. We the human form of body are designed for this earth. We have a pre determined life-span subject to being destroyed at anytime because of various reasons…neglect, sickness, etc. We are programmed with different levels of knowledge which can be upgraded etc. Till date our knowledge level is not enough to understand many things including ‘God,’ However, today we know much more than we knew fifty years ago and fifty years from now we will know much more than today.

Our perception of existing is nothing more than the sum of the activity inside our brains. When that activity ends our existence ends. So what comes after death? Nothing. Your experience 10 years after you die will be the same as it was 10 years before you were conceived. Nothing. You are not an object. You are a process and when that process ends, you will cease to exist.

So enjoy your life. Find a purpose for your life. Find a balance between enjoying the present and preparing for the future. Adopt a philosophy and a value system that satisfies you while treating others with respect. But please please please don't feel you have to delude yourself into believing lies about an afterlife.

Death and birth are the process of humanbeing.I never die. It is permanent. There are lacks of examples of rebirth of children who disclose their the identification of their parents all over the world. It is our ignorance if we are staying at our blind faith of our religious believes. Who born must die and this process is continued from the years of humanity which can not be counted except one circle like day and night. There is not doubt that we are a soul, rooh, noor, energy or atom etc whatever the name we can give. Peace is disturbed when our thoughts starts negative. Every human has his role in any form. If he plays his role perfactly and accurately he can overcome his disability by playing his role honestly and happily as the world director has given us due to our past karmas. Do not worry every human is disabled in either way whether he feels or not.

as in my religion, a person (when alive) has two parts, body and soul, when somebody dies soul will leave body and body is no more important (you know what happens to it), soul will go to a place called berserk, berserk is a temporary world until the day that is called judgment day comes, after this day (that has a long description), all creatures in the world will gather and will be alive again for judgment, which is the most fair judgment (this one has a long description too) then they will go to hell or heaven depends on their life in this world and what they did through life, i know many people don't like to think about this maybe they fear death or..., but this is a fact and it's better to accept that you can never guess when you will die, maybe very soon or maybe after 100years living or more, in my religion the only one that knows this and everything else is god...

These questions were asked too many times, by too many people, in every epoch and civilization known... and there is no definitive answer for either.

Religions can provide some answers, but they will be necessarily biased by their own (pre)conceptions about the universe, life, and god(s).

If you have a religion of choice, you can embrace its answer. If not, just live your life to the best of your ability: after you finally die, you will know the answer - if you are aware at the time.
