When you are having MS.. try staying away from greasy foods. Eat light meals. Toast, skim milk, crackers, flavored waters help some, popcorn with light butter. During the day.. if you can eat a healthy full lunch. At night.. try some peanut butter on toast... that way you are getting some sort of protein and eating something that will make you feel full. I had morning sickness all times of day with this pregnancy during my 1st trimester. Keep trying things you like.. you will find what will help you and unfortunately things that just will not. Good luck!

I used SEA BANDS and found that I did get some relief with them. Other than that, simply have a few soda crackers did the trick. I used to make sure that any meat I would be using for dinner, was prepared during the early afternoon so as to be able to enjoy it at mealtimes. Find the right time of day for yourself to do certain things and sometimes ... going out for a walk also helped to take my mind off how I was feeling. You'll look back on this one day and wish this was the worst of your problems! Wait until your baby is up all night and won't settle down all day ... you'll be running on empty but because your will be a MOTHER ... you will just go on and on and on .... for your child's sake! Bless you and I wish your baby a safe and happy arrival!

You may want to stay away from dairy products when you are feeling queezy because thing's like milk, cheese ect. will sour in your stomach.Drinking 100%juice like juicy juice is good for you drinking ginger ale and 7-up is not alway's a good idea because of the carbonation that tends to upset the stomach causing a lot of air pockets.Eating saltine crackers sometimes helps the queezyness but unfortunately night/morning sickness is just part of being pregnant and sometimes there is'nt much that will stop it.Try and stay away from too much fried foods that also tends to sit badly in the stomach.Soup is very good to eat during pregnancy especially homemade soups and it is really easy to make a big crock pot of soup.If you want e-mail or IM me and I can give you all kind's of easy recipes.Congratulations on the birth of your upcomming baby children are truely gift's to be treasured.I also just remembered you can ask your doctor for phenergan that stops nausea within about 15minutes of taking it.

this is the worst part of being pregnant. there may be nothing you can do. when i was pregnant with my 4th i couldnt eat anything without getting sick dr even put me on meds for it and that made it worse. my sister in law had the same meds and it worked for her so try talkin to your dr. until then you should stay away from anything that doesnt look good to you because if it doesnt look good it wont taste good and youll prob get sick. try not to over eat that should help. eat light meals and small snacks inbetween. if your feel a little queasy you can always try snacking on crackers that can sometimes help. hope this helps a little and good luck

Stay away from strong smelling foods like fish, salmon's, tuna fish, shell fish. I'm sure you've tried crackers? Yes? That's always the first thing every one will tell you. Crackers do usually remove the nausea. Sometimes, some people just have it really badly. I never had nausea at all, I was really blessed. Trying new foods or new things during early pregnancy is never a good thing. Stick to what you like and stay away from fish. Good luck!

I tend to feel more sick at night. On really bad nights my doc suggested skipping the pre-natal vitamin, and taking a b-6 vitamin and unisom to help me sleep. he said the next morning would feel a lot better too after doing that.
I haven't tried it yet, because I've gotten to the store since my doc said that yesterday, but I suppose it's worth a shot.
Oh, he also suggested drinking liquids regularly, and eating a little something with protein every two hours (like a go-gurt, or cheese sticks). I have done that, and it definitely helps keep the sickness at bay during the day.
good luck

I was the same way, well into my 3rd month. my mom sent me a wonderful article which explained that morning sickness besides being caused by hormonal changes is also due to lack of sugar in your body. You should intake natural sugars like the ones in fruit. I started eating watermelon at least every hour and that helped a lot. Eating fruits made me feel better from the morning sickness and also kept me full. Good luck, but you should also talk to your doctor cause there is a pill he might be able to prescribe.

I was constantly queasy with my son. I found that cold things like slushies helped. And I avoided things which were high in fat, or spicy. I also ate light meals and snacks constantly to avoid getting hungry, as I found hunger just really made me nauseated. If you are not lactose intolerant, drink your milk. Keep some crackers by your bed and nibble one before you get out of bed, even to pee. Good luck! It's so hard, but they say that the more nauseated you are, the better your baby's immune system will be.

I had horrible morning sickness too. I tried the preggie pops, but I found sour hard candies worked a bit better (and they are cheaper). I recommend Altoids Sours. Ginger works ( ginger cookies, ginger ale, etc) as well as crackers and pretzels. Also eat small amounts. Don't let your stomach get completely empty. It gets worse then.
Don't worry. It usually goes away by around 12 weeks. Good luck!

I have read that morning sickness it the body's way of detoxing itself. Stay away from greasy fast food, excessively spicy food and over-processed food. Also if you smoke, stop. I know morning sickness sucks but just think of it as your body's way of cleansing and making a healthy environment for your baby for the next 9 months. Eat small frequent meals throughout the day. This will help also. Good Luck!!!
