The first surgical procedure was done in Ancient Egyptian time. It was the procedure of removing the guinea worm. The guinea worm went into a person's body while they were swimming or bathing in the Nile. Very Painful. The ancient Egyptians used a stick, and coiled the worm out, by the stick. This is also the medical sign we see everywhere, with that snake/worm winded around the staph. Hope this helped!!

Two. One was for a car accident although it wasn't invasive. The other one, they yanked my gallbladder. NOT FUN. So I'll stay away from major surgeries for quite a while.

Two, if wisdom teeth extraction counts...I was put to sleep.

If not, then one. I had my nose rebroken and fixed...I went 30+ years with a broken nose and did not know it until I went to an allergist who insisted I get my head x-rayed.

I can count 7! For different reasons too. I had one spine surgury, one for wisdom teeth, one DNC surgury (misscarage) 2 knee surguries (car accident crushed my knee, had plate and screws then took them out) then had 2 Csections.
