The Western Fence Lizard may not depend on water. I live in a desert, see plenty of these lizards so far away from water that I am not sure exactly where they get it from.

How about a Desert tortoise. They eat cactus fruit and desert grasses and because of their environment they are able to survive without water.
They get the moisture they need from the food they eat.

All reptiles need water one way or another. It's just that they don't all drink water directly. Some, like Uromastyx and some desert rattlers, gain all the water they need from their prey and, occasionally, dew.
