No, everyone should have Civil Rights, but no one deserves special rights. If it was to make them equal that's one thing, most though want some special rights.

I wish you had written in complete sentences. There is nothing stopping gay people from getting married and saying they are married.
We are a nation of the people, for the people, and by the people. If a majority of the nation determines that the laws should be passed, then yes, the laws should be passed. But so long as the people stand opposed to "gay rights", then they should not come to pass.
There are no "gay rights", nor are there rights for any one group in the USA. There are simply "rights".

Not sure what you mean.
Gay men and women have the same rights as anyone else.
EDIT: Marriage is not a "right", and besides, gay people can already get married (eg. Jim McGreevey).
If a company discriminates based on sexual preference, well, they are pretty much retarded. However, since I am against government involvment in business, I would be against laws that punished them for their hiring practices. But that's just me.
Hope this helps.

No, they shouldn't. It's contradictory. The constitution says that "All men are created equal." If we need special laws to protect people who practice sexual perversion, then we say that our constitution is wrong, not all men [humans] are created equal. We say that those who indulge in this sexual perversion are not equal under the law and/or are not men [humans].
You can't have it both ways. Either you are human and equal or you need special laws to protect you because you are not equal.
Which is it?
Edit: No one is saying turn the clock back to the 1800's. Slavery proved to be wrong and the laws were changed to properly reflect the constitution. In this day and age, we should not need any laws that give any specific group rights to vote, own property or any other protections. "All men are created equal" should sum it up enough.
You seem very determined to make people sound evil if they don't agree with you. Sounds like you need to let go of some of the hate in your heart.

For one thing, there is a difference between non-discrimination in admissions and employment and marital benefits.
I am currently single. People can't deny me a job or housing because of my marital status. But by the very definition of marriage there are some government benefits I don't get. and that's perfectly legal.
I am either very egalitarian, or very self-centered. I care about myself, and my family. I don't much care what other people do with their private lives.

Everyone is intitled by the Constitution to be treated equally. I believe greatly that Gay Rights law should be passed. Not to give "special" rights but to make them equal to everyone. Married people can put their spouse on their insurance, retirement and death benifits are provided to the spouse. Why not the same for a gay couple?

EQUAL gay rights laws should be passed, the same debate went around when women wanted rights. The world is ever changing, and if the people that inhabit it can not adapt, the world will grow over them.

Everyone has rights, but NO ONE deserves special rights because of what they are. I'm honestly sick of the whole thing and the force feeding of this whole issue.

Depends on what you mean.
Quite simply, with few exceptions, everyone should have the same rights. For example, you should not be given/denied employment based on your orientation (or race or religion or sex or...).
