Depends on height of Corn crop and the plant itself and of cause cultural factors(fertilization, watering etc) but usually around 3 to 4 on average.

It depends on the variety. You should be able to find this information in the seed catalog/packet or on the website you purchased it from. In general, I understand it's around 4-6 for sweet corn varieties.
