It's not needed. Actually most of the richest men in U.S. never graduated from college. They've dropped out. They teach you in college how to fit in and how to think like everybody else does.
So, after graduation, you find yourself an average paying job, and then you struggle all your life with bills and payments...
I am not saying don't go to college - depends what college and if you study there or party...But if you go to business for yourself early, chances are you'll be your own boss and make the same if not more than people who have degrees.

Good question. It seems that alot of people are getting along without an education. As a matter of fact, having an education is frowned upon by some. I'll leave it at that.

Education is and was always necessary,it is the only thing that keeps you free.No one can take it,and you can teach those who try to keep you locked down and locked out,after acquiring knowledge and putting it to positive use.As soon as a baby exit the womb,he or she starts to acquire knowledge by investigating its surroundings,with the passing of each day the baby puts to use that knowledge which he/she acquired,and advance to another level or stage in its development.the process should be continued throughout ones life,it should never stop.If you stop educating yourself,you can no longer engage properly in the society,and become locked out,put aside or locked down.peace!!

No, you do not need an education to be a total loser. You can bumble your way through without reading, never knowing if you got the right change and not knowing what others are talking about.

Most of it is a complete waste of time, trig, algebra, memorizing dates of when some fart landed his ship, who cares, if I want to know that I will look it up.
Corporations dont send sales reps to study ancient egypt "just in case", they learn specific skills they will need. Thats what we need more of, not everyone learing Pi and other information that 99% of people will never use. The schooling system is a dinosaur that hasnt yet realized it should be extinct already.
Dont let the nerds fool you into believing their nonsense.

Because without it you become a liberal living in the ghetto, utilizing section 8, and on food stamps. You will then fully depend on government for your existence. The democrats know this and will give you false promises (that they never intend to fulfill) hoping that you will vote for them.
