I am looking for a *totally free* site, where I can send text messages from my computer free of charge.Any links to any tried and tested sites would be great :) Thanks :)
p.s.I mean to send messages from my computer to mobiles, not to another PC. (i live in the usa by the way)

use the yahoo messenger 8.1 its tested and proven.this is what we use (me and my boyfriend) to communicate if one of us is not online.

try peekamo, it's really free, free to send, free to receive. None of the services mentioned above offer free to receive, when you send a message to your friends they will be charged for the message. Not very nice to your friends if I must say so.
