Valentines Day is coming soon and I would like to send flower(s) to a friend. We met online and know each other only through e-mails. I have no "romantic feelings" for her; but want to show her that I aprreciate her as a person and that I value our friendship.

Is it o.k. for me to send her a flower(s) on Valentine's Day or would it be misunderstood?

If it is o.k. what type of flower(s) would be appropiate to send to her?

If you only care about her as a friend then yes you will be misunderstood, especially if you send them on Valentines Day ... trust me I'm a girl!
Try to find another occasion.
Although if you are thinking of surprising her on Valentines Day i think you may feel more about her than friendship ...:) lol

Well I would not send her roses because that would definitely be confusing for her. If you just really want to send flowers, then I would send a small bouquet of like carnations and other assorted flowers. Perhaps something in a basket etc. Then put on the note something about friends so she knows it is just friends.

She might misunderstand

Depends on what type of flowers you send, ask a florist if she can tell you which flowers are just for friendship, and write on the card how you value her friendship and wanted her to feel special on Valentines day

It will be fine to send her flowers. Just remember, if she is only an online acquaintance, don't send roses. Send her a nice spring colored bouquet of mixed blooms. Yellow, purple, orange, white, even pink...but no red roses. And don't over spend.

Probably a bad idea. You don't know her heart and what she may virtually feel for you.

I think she would like but I would tell her that it is only for friend so she doesn't misunderstand.
