It is not a matter of when she turns 18 (becomes an adult), it's a matter of the statute of limitations for an offense.
First question that needs to be answered is, which state are you in and what is the age of consent in that state? If she is of age of consent, then no law has been broken. Many states have an age of consent of 16. Best to check with the laws in your state. That way if she was of age of consent, your bf can use that as leverage to get her to stop threatening him.
However, if she was not of age of consent, she can report the incident up until the time that the statute of limitations expires. Once again check with your state's laws on this. Some states have tried to extend the statute of limitation on sex related crimes after all the incidents with the Catholic priests. Typically it is 6 years.

This depends on the state.
However, in general, part of the definition of statutory rape includes a difference in ages.
If you BF was 18 and had sex with someone who was 17, it may not be SR. If he was 25, then it is SR and he can go to jail.
Relationship can also matter. If he was a relative, an employer, or a teacher (for example), then it might be SR even if there wasn't much difference in age. In fact, in certain situations it could simply be considered rape.
Her turning 18 is irrelevant.
If she claims it wasn't consentual (which may be what she's thinking) then she can have him brought up on rape charges. 17 or 18. Doesn't matter. Although it will look worse to a jury if she was a minor and he was a major.
She's likely bluffing, but if she shows up at the police claiming he raped her, then your BF will need to get a lawyer.

The is a statute of limitations. Support lasts for a long, long time.
I think you may want to leave him alone until he straightens out his previous problems.
Take a hard look at the way he is treating her. What happens when you are with child and he leaves you.
Do you suppose you would threaten jail as well?
Let him clean up his life. There are guys out there without that baggage. Find one of them.

As long as the crime was committed, it doesn't matter. If she was a minor and he was an adult she can prosecute. You should look up the statutes about it though. How much older is he? There is a bracket of difference in age where it doesn't apply.

what is she threatening to put him in jail for? statutory rape? if that's the case, she could do it right now...and i'm sure she knows that. try to get your boyfriend to either work things out with her or keep a "strictly business" relationship with her. that may help with the threats which will continue for the rest of his life if she had the child.

It has to be reported withing a time frame of it happening and since she was consenting to it, she is sort of screwed. The only thing she could get him for is statutory rape and he didn't rape her did he?! A lot has to be proven in court. Why is the slut threatening him?!

Think about this, what does this say about your man? He goes and knocks up and underage girl, and leaves her. What a winner, why the heck are you with him and having to deal with his bs? This is his problem, he created it.
