It's a personal preference, really. As long as you are happy with them and aren't obsessively piercing (which is an illness, by the way), go for it.
But, for instance, if you put too many in your ears or eyebrows or belly button, the skin becomes too fragile and will easily break and look ugly.
Also, if you plan to pursue a "white collar" profession, excessive piercings will get in the way of that.

I'd say more than 2 face piercings is too many and more that 6 ear piercings is too many.
And genitile piercings...............1 is too many!
Nipples 3 is too many.

beutiful or handsome 1 no facials
personally the grunge/punk is nasty to be .
the look covers a persons decency and hygene . although probably wrong it looks dirty
