evolution is the process of natural selection by which the genes in those that reproduce are eventually spread out across the species gene pool, and the genes in those that do not reproduce are consequently lost (if members of the species with a certain gene dont reproduce so much, said gene becomes less and less common until its phased out pretty much completely).
the development of larger brains and thus the capability to create weapons and use advanced strategies for finding food and evading predators has meant that those more likely to survive were the ones with larger brains essentially. on the converse, more muscle means a greater energy requirement and so can be seen to be only detrimental when the larger brain renders it unnecessary.
increased strength became less advantageous (presumerably because we could form weapons to aid us instead of using brute strength) and so our ancestors that reproduced more tended to have bigger brains in favour of more muscle..and so eventually muscle was selected out of the gene pool and we developed more intelligence in its place.
the misconception here is that evolution is a process by which we are simply enhanced..it is in fact a process by which the characteristics of a species that enhance reproductive rates are kept on and those which have a negetive effect on reproductive rates end up becoming less common and dying out.

<> No. It already happened, excepting that we nonetheless are primates. <> they did no longer end evolving, and gave upward thrust to different primates. human beings have not stopped evolving the two. replace <> I take it that individual isn't conscious of what 'primate' skill. It refers to any member of an order stated as Primates, and that incorporates lemurs. The earliest typical clean fossil data of primates is greater like sixty 5 million years previous.
