hi, i am an 18 year old girl and have always dreamt of travelling, the only problem is i dont want to do it alone and none of my friends are bothered about trying new experiences meetin new people or anythin, so (nd b4 u fink im sum kind of weird psicho, im not, honestly) i wanted 2 no if ther is any1 else looking 4 sum1 2 travel with, any ages b guys or girls, od dus any1 no of any websites wer u can travel nd work at the same time. i hope i have explained myself ok, sorry

i felt the same... except in the end i did go with a friend.
the best thing top do is to go through an organisation. i went with AVIVA to south africa to volunteer, and we all lived in a house in cape town, and i made so many great friends, because we were all in the same situation and didn't know anyone.
most people do go traveling on their own, and when you get to backpackers places etc there are loads of other on their own looking to make friends and to continue traveling to new places with new friends!

All I can say is go for it, yes it is better to travel with other people but if you don't find anyone then try some thing like camp america it's not traverling but you will get to see america and get paid.
I travelled quite a bit 2yrs ago I was able to travel through europe for 6 months and met some wonderful people I lucky though.
