Ooh me I do! I actually stand in front of the toaster and wait for the toast to pop out just so I can get the butter on befor the toast cools down

Ice cold butter to a connoiseur is far more tastier than melted butter.
Try this and you'll see.
Take a sourdough english muffin and with a dab of butter on each, place it in a pan on medium low heat. Be patient and let cook until the muffin is mostly browned.
Remove from pan and let cool. Spread ice cold butter on the muffins. Mmmmmm......delicious !!! Did you notice the difference in taste between the melted and ice cold butter? Now tell us which is better. Not only that but the sourness of the muffin and the sweetness of the butter is indescribable
