I tried doing a search and to my surprise I found next to nothing except a book regarding the exporting of American jobs overseas.

Wow, here's the totally dope info. It's from a website www.export.gov. Try the link below, click on the "GO" button, and it generates a very detailed list quantifying exports by category by year.
