I'd agree with the worst one being Chelsea's orange and grey away kit in the mid-1990s. I actually bought it as well, fashion crime or what? Other contenders are Brighton & Hove Albion's Tesco carrier bag kit which had striped shorts, Hull City's tiger print shirt, Manchester United's yellow and green third strip, and Arsenal's away kit in the early 90's that looked like a cross between a broken down telly and the consequence of a bad pint and a dodgy kebab.
Best kit? I've always liked Barcelona's, AC Milan's, Internazionale's and especially Fiorentina's 1990s mauve strip with the 7Up sponsor. And, of course, Brazil, Argentina and Holland's first choice colours.

People always bang on about how "ugly "it was...but actually, I've always thought that the brown Coventry shirt was pretty cool and unique. If they ever re-issued that it'd sell like hotcakes to City fans. The mid 70s Crystal Palace shirt was cool as well.. And Wimbledon in 1990..all blue with yellow arms.
Ugliest is ANY Chelsea shirt, but especially some of their many away monstrosities..not just the orange/grey one but they also had an all turquiouse kit around '84, and an all yellow with red and black geometric lines and squiggles all over it around '87...and the red/white diamond pattern around '90 Truly, they are the club that taste forgot.

The worst Kit would have to go to Manchester United - that weird Grey thing with a multi coloured mesh of dots on it eugh!! They only wore it for 45 mins as Ferguson made them change into their other away kit, his excuse being that the players could not pick each other out and that was why they played so badly.
I think Arsenal's away kit - the bright yellow strip was brutal as was Borussia Dortmund's neon yellow chess board away kit!!
Everton's Salmon Pink shirt was another fashion faux pas.
In terms of the best kits, I think Celtic, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Roma always have good home jerseys, also Liverpool's new adidas home kit is one of the best looking.

As a Coventry fan, I cringe to remember that faeces brown kit. The design was OK, the home kit had it in sky blue, but brown? Never!
I'd also like to nominate one Plymouth Argyle kit I saw which was green and brown and basically looked like sick, and of course the England Euro 96 battleship grey - sorry, I mean 'indigo' - which was designed to go well with jeans but unfortunately didn't go too well with football! And Man U's green & yellow halves away kit from the early 90s was pretty gross as well, made them look like some particularly E-numbered boiled sweet.

I was just now thinking that West Ham's kit isn't all that beautiful. I also don't like Liverpool's yellow, green, and red away kit.
As for ones I like, I love the solid colors, like Liverpool's and Manchester United's red home kits, and Chelsea's and Everton's blue home kits, just to name a few. I also really like stripes, including Newcastle's and AC Milan's striped home kits.
There are a number of ones I really like, and a few that I don't like, but it really doesn't matter what they are wearing, although it is good fun to talk about :)

Worst is Chelsea away strip (soz, don't remember the year) Sponsored by Commadore, red and white harlequin design.
Oh and any Man U shirt.

the Notts forrest away top in 94-96 ( Bright yellow with puke stains down the shoulders lol)
