Problem is this: I've become popular in my new school. how? I dont know. I began the year with A's and all school knows it. (each term teachers put the list with marks of every student on the wall )My classmates are jealous of me and treat me badly because of it, they know all my exam marks and when I do sth wrong , they all start laughing as if its sth they were waiting for since I came. everybody knows my name, my bday, my driver's car, my email address, though I didnt tell them. When I pass a group of people i hear them talking about me, sometimes stories are even not real.
From the beginning I was nice to everyone, I didnt gossip, I didnt show off. How could this be? Whats wrong with me? or with them?
PLEASE HELP

Exactly, what's wrong with them?People who feel insecure and are immature will do what they can to bring some one they fear down. You may be bothered by their treatment of you but in a way you should feel proud because they want to be like you but don't have the sense it takes to work for what you have worked for.You must continue to succeed no matter what because these people that are a part of your life now,you may never see again.School is like the battleground and the enemies are everywhere trying to break you,but when you stick to who you are ,by the time you are finished school, you will have developed the character you will need to face an adult world.Your so called friends will be a thing of the past one day and where they will be in their life will depend on their choices as your choices you make will determine your future.Keep your head up and never think these people are so important that their opinion of you forms who you are, their opinion of you is just that theirs, and who cares what they think?Good luck and continue to excel and maybe tomorrow before this old lady passes on you may end up a world leader and help change the world for the better. What you go through in your life always prepares you for something bigger,so Mr.or Madam President have a blessed day.

C'mon!i finally find someone i identify with!!SOOO COOL!!
In my school I also started with a report card of complete 20(that's the equivalent of A in Greece).I'm trendy and dress fashionably,I also try to be nice to everyone and without even knowing it,I find myself knowing the whole school!Guys notice me,and trust me,i am not Gisele myself,(I could do with shedding around 3 kilos, but people say my face is nice)Anyway, that;s the thing with "fame".
It's just popularity honey.Learn to enjoy it,although i sense that you don't want to admit it,but you like it!!I like it too.Would you rather go unnoticed?Would you prefer it if no one knew u or cared about you?I don't think you can answer YES.That wouldn't be normal.
its lonely at the top and you should know it.Only a few people have the superiority, ethics and .........guts to hang out with the popular and best, especially at this age.Why hide it??it is not a crime to be popular and a good student and i do have first hand experience.
Don't be hurt by peoples feelings and envy.I am quite glad when they envy me-it shows i have desirable qualities.keep up the good work. What you are doing is making you a greater person.it is a crime to waste you virtues for the sake of those who would kill for them, but unfortunately can't have them!!!!Kisses!!!

Don't pay too much attention. U are good. A wise man had once said that it is better that the people hate the way u r than luv u the way u r not. By the passage of time u will be able to make true friends. There is someone made for u.

Jealousy takes different forms. They've put you into a catalogy of special people because of your good grades and maybe looks. Since that's not possible for them to be 'you', they're looking for any bad points about you to bring you down to their level.
My suggestion is not an easy one. Be proud of who you are, keeping getting those good grades, be faithful to your friends and ignore the gossipers. The real problem lays with those talking about you -- they're being immature. Your real friends will side with you so gravitate towards them.
And most of all, DO NOT become the person they're making you out to be. Stay the normal, down to earth person you are.

It sounds to me like you are a little hyper-sensitive. I sincerely doubt that the entire school is talking about you and you alone. There's no reason to feel bad about doing well in school. Just be nice to people and they'll be nice to you.

Jealously has a way of bringing out the worst in people. You do what you need to do to succeed in life and don't worry about what or how they think of you. True friendships will come...just be yourself.

Don't care about them! They are just jealous of you and intimidated! They hide their insecurity by
mocking on you!Even JESUS they mocked HIM when HE started attracting crowd unintentionally.HE just wanted to help them and lead them to GOD for GOD's glory and yet even in HIS humility they insulted HIM and mocked HIM to crucifixion! So my point is,it's nothing new and if they did it to JESUS WHO is perfect and yet humble, how much to us only
who are not perfect and not totally humble?!
So just continue being smart and being nice!
Anyway, you don't need to please those around you and you can't really pls everyone!
