I feel cold inside my body like i have the chills having no energy just nausea flu like symptom enough to make me stay in bed is this good or do I need to worry i dont like the way it make me feel does that means it is doing its job do i need to wait a little longer for my symptom to set aside

You haven't stated if you just started Metformin or have been taking it for a while. Usually you start out with a small dose for a couple of weeks, then move up towards the final dose. Usually when you start Metformin, you will feel like you have some sort of stomach problem. You may have stomach pains, gas, headache, and diarrhea. This side effect usually lasts a few days up to a week. If it lasts longer than a few weeks, then you should ask about the extended release version.
